Family of the Year The Family Nurturing Center is sponsoring its 14th Annual FAMILY OF THE YEAR CELEBRATION and fundraiser. Learn more.

The Family Place is a parent-child resource and education center operated by the Family Nurturing Center of CNY. It is the only family resource center in Oneida County. The Family Place provides group-based parent-child education programs and workshops, private parenting consultations, information and referral services, parent support groups, playgroups, a children’s clothing share and supplemental diapers as well as family resource materials and a children’s lending library. Infant Massage Classes, Teen Parents and Babies Playgroup and Supervised Parent-Child Visitation are held regularly. The Family Place shares space with WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program three Wednesdays per month. The Family Place offers at least one special event per month. These special events offer families a chance to learn and share cultural similarities and differences; celebrate holidays; offer opportunities for the whole family to have an enjoyable experience in their community. The Family Place also provides several health and safety presentations which are collaborated with various community agencie.
