The Family Nurturing Center of Central New York, Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization founded in 1988 to provide parenting education and family support programs.
The Family Nurturing Center offers services that empower parents and children to strengthen their relationships and to meet individual and family needs. The agency also provides training for individuals who work with families, toward the goal of preventing child abuse and building nurturing families.
Individuals and families are served in their homes, in schools, in community centers, and at the agency’s own sites – the Family Place Resource Center and Evelyn’s House for Young Mothers and Babies.
All of the Family Nurturing Center’s activities are based on the philosophies and objectives of the Nurturing Parenting Program® - a preventative curriculum and strength-based model of empowerment for parents and children.
